2025 - 2026 Class Sessions
Kinder Kickz Soccer offers introductory soccer classes in 8–10 week sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years.
Classes are held outdoor at local parks or indoor gyms depending on the time of the year:
Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, and WindsorEach class is 1 hour, once per week
No weekend classes
We are not a competitive league and do not play against other teams. Our focus is on skill-building, fun, and confidence!

Summer Break:
There are no classes June 7 - August 24
Session 1: August 25 - October 31, 2025

Class Ages
We offer age-specific soccer classes designed to support your child’s development and comfort level:
18–36 Months
This is a parent participation class.
If you have twins, each child must have their own participating adult.
3–5 Years and 5.5–8 Years
These are non-parent participation classes.
Parents watch from the sidelines during class.
If your child is shy or needs a little extra support at the beginning, it’s perfectly fine for a parent to temporarily step onto the field to help them adjust.
Our goal is to gently guide children toward full independence on the field, in a fun and encouraging environment.
👉 All classes are 1 hour long, held once per week.
⚽ We are not a league, and we do not compete against other teams.

18–36 months parent/
child class description
Each class is 60 minutes long and includes:
15 minutes of free play – open to family and friends
45 minutes of structured activities – with and without the ball
Our activities are thoughtfully designed to develop:
Motor skills – balance, coordination, running control
Social skills – listening, teamwork, sharing
Children learn best through repetition, and each week builds on the last with fun, age-appropriate games and challenges.
Parent Participation
Each child must have one active adult partner participating every week.
(For twins, each child must have their own adult partner.)
We use engaging props like balls, balloons, colorful equipment, bubbles, and parachutes to make each class exciting and keep your child eager to return.
The Kinder Kickz Soccer curriculum was developed by Renee Ziemer, who holds a B.S. in Physical Education and a Master’s in Education.


3–5 year and 5.5 – 8 year class descriptions
Our 60-minute classes combine:
15 minutes of free play (family and friends welcome)
45 minutes of structured activities to teach basic soccer skills, including passing, kicking, dribbling, juggling, scoring, and scrimmage play.
We also focus on developing:
Motor skills (balance, coordination, running control)
Social skills (listening, confidence, teamwork, sharing, sportsmanship)
Each age group is introduced to new challenges in a positive, non-competitive environment. Fun props and equipment keep kids engaged and excited to come back each week!
